1. SPEEDDepending on how fast you want the files to be translated, our project team consisting of project manager, translator, checker, proofreader and typesetting engineer can plan and execute according to the deadline. Although the average daily output of translation is ranging from 1,500 words to 2,500 words, we can speed up the whole project by having more people working on it. For example, by increasing to 10 translators, we can translate up to 25,000 words daily. However, in order to avoid inconsistent usage of terms or glossaries, our checker and proofreader will check thoroughly before submitting to our client.
|
2. PRICEWe calculate based on the total word count or character count. For example, "I love marketing" is calculated as 3 words. For languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, we calculate by total characters like "你好棒" is calculated as 3 characters. Our prices range from standard to premium. Premium package will come with additional proofreading and other benefits.

3. WARRANTY
All our work come with 1-month free warranty. You are allowed to request for unlimited revisions until you are full satisfied. Based on our experience, as long as we have a thorough discussion from the beginning until the ongoing of the project and complete materials before we start working on the project, the outcome would turn out to be great without requiring much revisions.

PROCESS FLOW
1. TranslationTranslation is not as simple as converting a language to another language. We always ensure that our translation is based on contextual basis whereby the original foreign text is maintained with any language idiosyncrasies intact. Our consultant will communicate with you to fully understand your purposes, objectives and requirements prior to the commencement of any project tasks. As we put the confidentiality as our first priority, all the translation materials will be handled by our team with extreme care, attention and dedication. We can also sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with you if required.
|
2. ProofreadingIn our standard practice, it's already compulsory to recheck the translation carefully before submission to our client. However, we do still offer a premium option to conduct another round of 100% proofreading on top of the compulsory round of rechecking to clients who want the best quality. By having a native-speaker proofreader who is a subject matter expert to conduct second round of checking, both context and content of the translated texts can be perfected for optimal results.
|
3. FormattingThe texts that you want to get translated may come in different formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, HTML, .json, .txt, SRT file, Adobe Illustrator or even Photoshop. Don't worry! Our typesetting or desktop-publishing engineers are here to do pre-processing to turn uneditable documents into editable formats before passing to our translators to translate. After translation, the translated documents will be passed back to the engineer team to recheck and finalize the format before delivery. This whole process is to ensure that the layout of translation files you get is the same as the source files.
|
4. CopywritingAdditional step if you need it! Not every translator can be a copywriter as both jobs require different skill sets. For translation, the translator needs to translate the source texts without missing any information. For copywriting, the copywriter may need to restructure the contents and the sentences in order to attract the attention of the target audience and move them to take action. Sometimes, a big chunk of information may also be deleted as it doesn't support the main objectives of the articles or scripts. Depending on the circumstances, the copywriter may need to add content in order to supplement the insufficient information in the original text.

TRANSLATION SERVICE RATE |
|
"How much is the translation going to cost me?" This is perhaps the most common question we receive from our clients. Depending on your requirements, our translation fee differs accordingly.
Our cost structure consists of mainly Formating (Typesetting) fee, Translation fee, Proofreading fee & Copywriting fee. Case Studies 1 (Microsoft Word) A client needs to to translate a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in Microsoft Word file format from English to Malay. Based on our software calculation, the estimated word count is 5,000 words. For technical translation, our rate per English source word is RM0.40. Hence, the total fee is 5,000 words x RM0.40 = RM2,000. Case Studies 2 (PDF) But if the client provides a 5-page scanned PDF file to us, then we have to charge typesetting fee on top of RM2,000. Assuming each page is RM20, the total typesetting fee will RM20 x 5 pages = RM100. If you require us to do another round of 100% proofreading by a subject matter expert or copywriting of the translation, we will add the cost on top of the translation fee.
